The Rules of the Craft
Ever wondered what keeps our creative partnership running smoothly? We've outlined our Terms of Service to ensure every brushstroke and workshop session is clear, fair, and professional.
At Verdant Strokes Studio, transparency isn't just a buzzword. It's how we protect your vision and our artistic integrity.
Service Agreement
By engaging our services, whether it's for a custom digital commission or an intensive Procreate workshop, you're agreeing to the framework we've built here. Don't worry, it's pretty straightforward.
- All workshop registrations are confirmed upon receipt of payment.
- Digital commission timelines are estimates, though we pride ourselves on hitting deadlines.
- Usage rights for artwork vary by license level; we'll always specify this in your contract.
Creative Property
Who owns what? It's the most common question in digital art. Typically, Verdant Strokes Studio retains the moral rights to the work, while you'll receive specific usage licenses based on your project needs.
We don't permit the use of our artwork for AI training datasets or NFTs without explicit, additional prior written consent. Protection of original style is our priority.
Cancellations & Refunds
What happens if you change your mind? We understand that life happens. For workshops, we offer full refunds up to 7 days before the start date. After that, we've already prepared your brushes and canvas!
- Commission deposits (50%) are generally non-refundable once the sketching phase begins.
- No-shows for 1:1 sessions are charged at the full rate.
- We'll always try to reschedule before we cancel.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of New York State. While we're based in Brooklyn at 1000 Dean Street, our digital art knows no borders, but our legal base is strictly NYC.
